Welcome to the Scorpions K.C Chat Forum.

Information

This is for members of Scorpions Korfball Club to use to chat to their friends, ask questions, and to have fun with, you will find a number of catagories for you to chat in about all different types of subjects, like school, video games, life in general, and of course, Korfball.

You must have been a member of Scorpions K.C for at least 4 months before you will be allowed access to the forum, unless I ( Danny ) have for any reason given you special permission.

If you are from another Korfball club and would like to be able to chat to your friends from Scorpions K.C, then you will need to ask your coach to speak to me, and we will decide if we feel it is ok for you to have access to the forums. 

Myself and my friend Carl, who works in the computer industry, are the chat forum administrators, which means we will be able to keep an eye on everything that happens in the forums, please be aware of this, it is for your safety, and also so we will be aware of anyone breaking the rules.

For you to access the forums, again for your safety, there has been a username and password activation set on to the forum link at the bottom of the page, this means if you click on it, you will be asked for this username and password, if you do not have it, you can not access the forums.  To access the username and password you MUST ask me for it, you will need to use this username and password everytime you want to access the forums, the username and password WILL NOT change unless I say otherwise.

Once you have this you will be able to access the forums, once there you need to register yourself, just like you would for an e-mail address or for MSN Messenger, you will need to give a username and password, e-mail address, and some other information.  You may need an adult to help you with this if you are finding it difficult, but you should'nt do.

The username and password you give when you register will ONLY be so you can log into the forum, this is so you can leave messages and use the forum, this username and password will be unique to you,

NO ONE is to know YOUR password.

Once you have registered, you will need to go to the e-mail address you have registered with.  You will have been sent an e-mail from This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it   ( do not click the link on the left, click the one in your e-mail ) giving you instructions on how to activate your account, this is not as difficult as it sounds, the instructions are very simple and easy to follow.  If you do not do this then your account will not be activated.

The e-mail that you are sent from 'admin' is sent as soon as you register, please make sure that you check your 'Junk Mail' if you find that the e-mail is not in your e-mail inbox, as sometimes e-mail's that are not recognised by an e-mail address are sent to the junk mail, especially if your e-mail is a hotmail account.

When all this is done you will have 2 usernames and passwords, one that I have given you to access the forums through this website, the other so you can chat and use the forums.  This may sound like a pain, but again please be aware that this has all been done to keep you safe.

Rules

For your safety and for the safety of other users, we have implemented the following rules.

Failure to adhere to these rules will result in you being banned from the forum.

Language
Some users of the forums maybe younger than you, so please refrain from using swear words or anything of a sexual/racist or offensive nature, censors have been applied so that swear words will be blocked, but we will know if you have tried to use them, so be aware.

Pictures
If your going to link/upload pictures, please make sure that the images are suitable.

No links/images of a sexual/rude or offensive nature please.

Bullying
We at Scorpions, take bullying very seriously.  We will not allow anyone using this forum or website to be subject to bullying.  If your found to be bullying another member, you will be removed and we will follow up with note to your parents or legal guardians, in some instances, you may also banned from your club, and Korfball, for a lengthy period.  BULLYING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.
