Coaching Team:

Scorpions Korfball Club & Academy currently has 3 coaches training all age groups.

Danny Miles - Danny has been involved in Korfball since his early teens, he has competed at the highest level of Korfball in the U.K, has been part of a National League championship winning team and has also won the BKA (British Korfball Association) Cup.  Danny has competed for club at the european championship tournament called the Europa Cup, and is one of only 12 players in the U.K to have ever won a silver medal in the competition, getting to the final of the 1998 tournament in Belgium.  He has also represented the county side London and the National side many times, he has coached many young players and junior teams, alot of which have gone on to win championships and trophies.  He is the current LKA (London Korfball Association) Junior Development Officer and is also on the coaching staff for the London Under 16 squad and the England U19 Squad.

Tony Micallef - Tony has been playing and coaching for over 20 years, he has coached junior teams to championship titles and has won the National Championships with children in the Under 9 age group the last 3 years running, he has also coached at the Korfball School Of Excellence.

He is currently on the coaching staff for the London Under 11 and Under 13 squads.

Graham Atkins - Graham is the assistant coach to Danny and Tony at Scorpions, he has played Korfball for over 20 years and has represented the county Kent in his junior days, Graham was also part of the coaching staff for the London Under 13 squad from 2006 - 2007 and the Under 16 squad in 2008.

All Scorpions K.C coaches are first aid trained and are CRB checked for their suitability for working with young people.
